Come spend four days at beautiful Camp McDowell with woodcarver Dylan Goodson. Students will have their choice of these projects:
Father Christmas figure.
Native American Bust.
European style Saint.
Pictorial Relief Scene.
or contact Dylan to arrange some other project, or bring your own.
There will be 24 to 34 hours of class time depending on how hard you work, and if you choose to carve in the evening. Dylan will focus on teaching how to quickly block out a carving with proper anatomy and how to bring that carving to live with details.

We'll have one of Camp McDowell's Lodges all to ourselves. The lodge's have hotel style rooms, there is a microwave, stove, coffee maker and fridge in the lodge's common room, which is where we'll be carving. We'll have all of our meals at the dining hall during our stay. There's no phone, no TV and only limited cell phone reception, they do have wireless internet at the camp office, but not in the rooms. So that means that there are no distractions. :-)
Check out these pages for a little more information on what to expect at camp.
